Home Station

My amateur radio journey began with the Yaesu FT-857. This device was gifted to me by TA1HZ Tev through the influence of TA7H Furkan, who instilled in me the love for amateur radio. The device is not just a piece of equipment; it carries with it a legacy and a responsibility. One day, this radio will pass on to another young amateur operator, helping them take their first steps into this world.

Initially, my station was set up on a simple dining table. Complemented by an EFHW antenna placed on my balcony, this station gradually evolved as my passion for amateur radio grew. With the FT-857, I’ve reached across the world, experiencing the spirit of amateur radio with every QSO. Each connection is a new story, a new friendship, and an opportunity for sharing. In addition to this, I use an Adalm-Pluto for communication via the QO-100 satellite.

Mobile Station

Amateur radio, for me, is not just a means of communication, but also an opportunity to connect with nature, find peace, and rediscover freedom. On this journey, my greatest supporter is my 2000 Opel Corsa, which never leaves my side. We not only hit the road together but also work as a mobile radio station. The car’s battery provides the power I need for my field operations.

My favorite device is the Yaesu FT-857, with its portability and strong performance. Thanks to the Dipole and EFHW antennas, I have the opportunity to operate across different bands and frequencies. Field operations are not just a technical pursuit; they are a lifestyle, an expression of my connection with nature and my love for amateur radio. With every new adventure, I am once again amazed by my passion for both this hobby and life itself.

QRP Station

The world of amateur radio is both a technical and emotional journey. From the very beginning of this journey, the concept of high output power has always fascinated me. In particular, the station I used in Croatia with Remote Ham Radio support had a powerful output capacity of 1.5 kW, and the performance of that station amazed me.

However, over time, I realized that amateur radio is not just about high output power. Sometimes, you can achieve great things with just 5 watts. This awareness led me to purchase a QRP device. My choice was the QRP Labs QMX+. To operate in CW mode with this device, I started learning Morse code, and I’m currently in the process of mastering it. Making QSOs with different countries using just 5 watts in CW mode is bound to be an exciting experience.
