QO100 ON THE AIR!

2.4ghz was prohibited for amateurs in Türkiye. Permission was given after the Feb. 6 Earthquake. They sent me a set temporarily until I could set up my own station. Thanks to the “Atölye” group and TA7OZX Ozkan. I use Adalm-Pluto and 8W edup. I have a dual Poty antenna. 1.2m satellite dish (offset). My home location is KN90EV. All QSOs are 100% uploaded to LoTW. If you need KN90, feel free to ask for SKED. My dream is to get Satellite DXCC. No one in Türkiye received it.

STATION SETUP

Like many hams, I have used the ADALM-PLUTO. To increase the output power, I utilized the SKY65135 amplifier. I further amplified this boosted signal using the EDUP 2.4 GHz 8W power amplifier to transmit it effectively. Throughout the setup, I employed both SMA and N connectors. On the RX side, I used a bias tee to minimize losses. Additionally, I opted for TCZ500 and RG6 cables to further reduce signal loss. The entire system is powered by a laptop battery. I used a 120 cm dish antenna and am transmitting with a Potty antenna.

MoEP STATION

We are on the air on Moep station with TC100TC on the 100th anniversary of the Republic. Mars on Earth Project; For amateur scientists interested in space research and technologies and for education in society; It is the first Mars research project based in Türkiye, with the aim of temporarily creating space and manned/unmanned Mars studies and keeping it on the ground for future investigations.

The station was amazing. We worked at the station with my amateur friends TA2IUJ Yücel and TA2GY Cem. Thus, we were on the air. As the youth of Türkiye, TA7H Furkan and I announced this day on satellite in many special countries. Additionally, the whole world witnessed this special day with our broadcasts on DATV. For More
