Hello, I’m Merzuke, with the amateur radio callsign TA7YLY. My journey into the world of amateur radio began on November 25, 2022, but the seeds of this adventure were planted much earlier during engaging conversations with my friend Furkan (TA7H). Each morning, Furkan would enthusiastically share stories of how he attempted to connect with people in the middle of the oceans, bringing the voices of distant lands into his home. His passion and the knowledge he imparted ignited a growing curiosity within me, and it didn’t take long for me to embrace the spirit of amateur radio and embark on this exciting path.

After successfully passing the exam and receiving my callsign, I felt as though I had become part of a global community. Every day, I experience the thrill of reaching out to a new continent, forging connections through radio waves. These connections transcend mere technical exchanges—they are windows into different cultures, geographies, and stories from around the world. Amateur radio has become not only a technical pursuit but also a means of building friendships and sharing knowledge across borders.

Throughout this journey, the support of my friends has been invaluable, and I am especially grateful to Furkan (TA7H) for his encouragement and guidance. Without his inspiration, I might not have had the opportunity to be part of this remarkable adventure. Nearly two years into this experience, every moment continues to add excitement and discovery, as I uncover new worlds through each frequency.
